THREE EMMYS GO TO JEOPARDY! AT 30th ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS
CULVER CITY, CA, - On Friday, May 16, 2003, Jeopardy!, America’s Favorite Quiz Show, won its ninth Emmy for Outstanding Game Show, with host Alex Trebek walking away with his third statuette during the 30th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at Radio City Music Hall. The week prior, Jeopardy! won its sixth Daytime Emmy for “Outstanding Special Class Writing” in a separate ceremony held in Los Angeles. This brings the famous quiz show’s Daytime Emmy total to 24 since its debut in 1984
.
