But I enjoyed getting to know everyone. The conversation was fascinating. Kyle was a veritable Roger Ebert, talking about cinematic history like he had written the book. Of course I was thinking, "Sure hope we don't get 'Cinematic Masterpieces' because we've had it if we do." The conversation then turned to horse racing. And I found out that Faith Love lives on Foolish Pleasure Drive. Not a bad name for a street. Who doesn't like a little "foolish pleasure" every now and again. I wondered if the street names were indicative of the residents. She went on to say all the streets in her neighborhood were named after Derby winners. Not long after, the door opened and the call finally came. I was nervous. I was also ready just to get it over. The knot in my stomach was churning from the 47 Coca-Cola's I had drunk to keep the nerves on edge. And then you walk out on stage. And the music starts.
